How it works

  1. Step 1

    Choose a deployment path

Use the hosted service, personal Docker self-hosting, or the advanced Cloudflare deployment documented upstream.

  2. Step 2

    Connect SEO data

Provide a user-controlled DataForSEO account and API key; usage is billed by that provider.

  3. Step 3

    Run focused workflows

Perform keyword research, rank tracking, competitor analysis, backlink research, site audits, or AI-visibility analysis.

  4. Step 4

    Connect an Agent

Optionally expose approved SEO tools through the MCP server and reuse the documented Agent Skills.

Fit and limitations

Known limitations

  • Collected from public repository documentation; runtime behavior was not executed for this publication.
  • A DataForSEO API key is required for SEO data and incurs external pay-as-you-go costs.
  • SEO metrics depend on external data coverage, geography, timing, and provider behavior.
  • MCP access must be scoped so Agents cannot expose credentials or unintended customer data.

Confirm before starting

  • A DataForSEO account, API key, approved budget, and data-use policy.
  • Docker for the documented simple self-hosting path, or Cloudflare configuration for the advanced path.
  • Authentication and persistent storage appropriate to personal or team use.
  • Never publish API keys, customer domains, search datasets, exports, or account usage.
